Blog 2 - Healthcare System

Hi reader.

In this post I will write about the public healthcare system of my country and specifically of my city: Chillán. Where to start!? Basically, in Chile, the healthcare system is irregular, many people die waiting your attention, another suffer in the crowded aisles of general hospital and some people worsens after your treatment. 

This reality has been ignored for many years and the government has not bothered to put an end to this crisis a product of economic interests. In the end, the Chilean healthcare system it´s a business. Unfortunately, this reality worse in the regions because of centralism. 

In Chillán the healthcare system is considered one of the worst systems in the country. Here, there are many records about medical malpractice, not only a long time ago, but in the last 3 years. Many people die from "common" operations such as appendicitis or from a poorly treated spider bite. It´s a sad reality. 

In addition, the social inequality that exists in the country is more evident with the public healthcare system. While some people have a good system, others, after death, just receive their doctor´s appointment.
